Telangana High Court Provides Relief to Group-1 Selected Candidates

The Telangana High Court has provided relief to candidates selected for Group-1 posts. The Chief Justice Bench has cancelled the single judge's verdict on Group-1 recruitments. Previously, a single judge had ruled to cancel the Group-1 general ranking list and ordered re-evaluation of the Mains answer sheets. TGPSC and the selected candidates appealed against the single judge's orders. The Chief Justice Bench, after hearing the appeal, delivered its verdict. The High Court allowed the appeal petitions and quashed the single bench's judgment. The Division Bench of the High Court stated that the Group-1 recruitments were valid and that the Group-1 examination was conducted transparently. The High Court Division Bench also stated that there was no evidence of irregularities in the examination.
