The government has issued the second phase notification regarding the land pooling process in Amaravati. This time, the decision has been taken to pool a total of 16,666 acres of land, excluding government-owned lands. With the release of this notification, the capital construction works are expected to gain further momentum. A part of the land pooling process was already completed in the first phase. Now, in the second phase as well, discussions with farmers, procedures for land pooling, compensation packages, and related issues have become key talking points.
The responsibility for this land pooling has been officially assigned to the CRDA Commissioner. Four villages in the Amaravati mandal and three villages in the Thulluru mandal have been identified for carrying out the land pooling process. Notices will soon be issued to the landowners in these villages, their opinions will be collected, and the benefits and guidelines of the land pooling system will be clearly explained. With these steps, Amaravati’s development is once again coming into focus, and it is being seen as a sign that the capital project is regaining strong pace.
