The Central Bureau of Investigation has conclusively stated that no animal fat was used in the ghee meant for preparing Tirumala Srivari Laddu Prasadam. Acting on the directions of the Supreme Court, a CBI Special Investigation Team conducted a detailed probe and found the allegations to be baseless. Scientific tests carried out by the ICAR National Dairy Research Institute in Haryana and the National Dairy Development Board in Gujarat confirmed that the ghee samples contained no traces of animal fat, including pork or fish derivatives.
The CBI examined four different ghee samples using triglyceride profile analysis, which also revealed the absence of cholesterol. Experts noted that cholesterol is found only in animal fat, thereby clearly disproving the allegations. After completing the investigation, the CBI filed a chargesheet in the ACB court at Nellore. The report put an end to the misinformation campaign and reassured millions of devotees worldwide about the sanctity of the Tirumala Laddu Prasadam.
