The interrogation of three key Maoist suspects in police custody concluded on Saturday. Later that evening, the police transferred them back to Rajahmundry Central Jail. Among 28 Maoists apprehended in Kothu Autonagar, Kanuru, Penamaluru mandal, Krishna district, the three main accused—Yuddham Raghu (A1), Jyothi (A2), and Divakar (A3)—were granted two days of police custody by the High Court for questioning. Following the court’s orders, Penamaluru police took the three suspects from the central jail on Friday to commence the interrogation.
During the questioning, each of the three suspects was asked approximately 50 questions. While they claimed ignorance on most of the queries, reports indicate that for some questions, they provided detailed responses. The interrogation focused on understanding their activities and connections within the Maoist network.
