Election Machinery Gears Up for Voter List Revision..

The Chief Electoral Officer of the state, C. Sudarshan Reddy, directed officials to conduct the upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process efficiently and transparently. The objective is to ensure that every eligible voter is included in the electoral rolls while removing ineligible entries. A special training session was conducted through video conference for District Election Officers, Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, and BLO Supervisors.

During the session, officials were briefed on legal provisions, implementation procedures, IT-based modules, voter enumeration processes, and the various stages of the revision exercise. District Collectors, Election Officers, GHMC Commissioner, and election department staff from across the state participated in the programme. The initiative aims to strengthen and streamline the electoral process ahead of future elections.
