A major theft has been reported at the CR Rao Institute, located on the University of Hyderabad campus. Around 50 laptops worth approximately ₹25 lakh were stolen after unidentified burglars allegedly removed the grills of a classroom window to gain entry. CCTV footage shows the suspects transporting the laptops in a car.
Following the incident, the university’s security personnel lodged a complaint at the Gachibowli Police Station. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to identify and apprehend the culprits.
