Following a request by Donald Trump, Israel has decided to pause its attacks on Iran’s gas-related infrastructure. This development comes amid rising tensions between the two nations. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made strong statements, saying that Israel is prepared to take all necessary steps if the situation worsens.
Netanyahu also claimed that Iran currently does not have the capability to produce ballistic missiles and warned that Israel would act firmly if needed. He further said efforts are being made to reopen and secure the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has not made any public appearance so far, adding to the uncertainty around the situation.
