Reports circulating on social media suggest that a possible Bharatiya Janata Party government oath taking ceremony in West Bengal may take place on May 9. It is also being linked to the cultural event held on the occasion of Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding these claims.
Speculation is also emerging that Suvendu Adhikari, who has defeated Mamata Banerjee twice in the past, could be considered for the Chief Minister post. Political circles, however, are treating these reports as mere rumours, as no formal announcement has been made.
