Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has increased the price of industrial diesel by ₹22 per litre, raising it from ₹87.57 to ₹109.59. The sharp hike comes amid tightening fuel supplies influenced by global uncertainties.
Reports indicate that petrol and diesel imports have declined due to ongoing geopolitical tensions, leading to supply disruptions. Several fuel stations in suburban areas have already displayed “No Stock” boards, reflecting the growing pressure on availability.
