Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani has once again received summons from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged violations of foreign exchange regulations. The agency has directed him to appear for questioning on the 26th of this month as part of its probe under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). Officials stated that the summons were issued after Ambani reportedly failed to appear in response to earlier notices issued by the agency.
The ED is also expected to question his wife, Tina Ambani, who has allegedly missed previous appearances before investigators. The probe is focused on overseas assets and financial transactions linked to the Ambani family, with authorities examining possible irregularities under FEMA provisions. With repeated absences from earlier hearings, attention is now on whether Anil Ambani will attend the scheduled questioning, as further legal action could follow depending on his response to the latest summons.
