Hyderabad Police Commissioner Sajjanar has emphasized that the police must remain vigilant at all times to ensure the safety of the city. He instructed the force to respond swiftly to public grievances and strengthen night policing.
In a surprise midnight inspection on Sunday, the CP toured several key areas under the Langer House and Tolichowki police limits between 12 AM and 3 AM. Without any sirens or official escort, he directly visited the houses of rowdy-sheeters, waking them up and questioning them about their past criminal activities, current lifestyle, employment status, and social behavior. He warned them that strict action would be taken if they returned to crime.
Sajjanar also checked business establishments operating late at night in Tolichowki and cautioned owners that violating government regulations would attract stringent action.
He interacted with patrolling teams to assess their alertness and reviewed their night security measures. He further visited the Tolichowki Police Station and inspected the general diary, night entries, staff attendance, and duty assignments.
The Commissioner stressed the importance of visible policing and stated that close monitoring of criminal activities across the city is underway. He directed the police teams to stay prepared to address public issues promptly.
