Court denies bail to Messi event organiser Satadru Dutta!

court has denied bail to Satadru Dutta, the organiser of Lionel Messi’s ‘GOAT India Tour’, in connection with the chaos that broke out at Salt Lake Stadium. Fans turned unruly after Messi spent less time than scheduled, leading to disturbances inside the stadium. Alleging mismanagement, police arrested Dutta at the airport while he was travelling to Hyderabad, and Bidhannagar court remanded him to 14 days of police custody.

Meanwhile, a state government-appointed committee inspected the stadium and is reviewing CCTV footage to ascertain the circumstances that led to the incident, with a report to be submitted soon. As part of his India tour, Messi visited Hyderabad and played football with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and children at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, before meeting fans at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on the second day.
