

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy participated in the inauguration of the Nalla Cheruvu development project in Kukatpally, within the Malkajgiri Parliamentary constituency. Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister expressed happiness at visiting Kukatpally as the Chief Minister and assured that development funds would be allocated to all Assembly constituencies in the Malkajgiri Parliament segment, irrespective of political affiliations. He emphasized that the government’s policy is to move forward with development and welfare beyond political considerations.
Revanth Reddy stated that the restoration of lakes is aimed at preventing flood-related hardships and protecting the city’s ecological balance. He said the government has no intention of troubling the poor or demolishing homes unnecessarily, but encroachments on lakes and drains must be addressed to prevent future flooding. The Chief Minister also announced plans to provide stall opportunities for women near restored lakes and develop play areas for children. He called for the restoration of all lakes in Hyderabad, rejuvenation of the Musi River, removal of encroachments on drains, and road expansion to transform Hyderabad into a well-planned and sustainable city.
