Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy extended his greetings to the Telangana Police. He lauded the prowess of the police force on the occasion of their "hat-trick" victory—securing the Overall Champion Trophy for the third consecutive time at the All India Police Duty Meet. He remarked that this triumph stands as a testament to the hard work and discipline of the state police force.
The Chief Minister opined that the continuous training conducted under the supervision of the Telangana CID was the primary factor behind this success. He stated that it is a matter of great pride to see the state police once again demonstrate their excellence on a national stage. On this occasion, he extended special congratulations to DGP B. Shivadhar Reddy and CID Additional DG Charu Sinha.
For the past three years, the Telangana Police have maintained a winning streak. It is noteworthy that, following victories in Lucknow in 2024 and Ranchi in 2025, Telangana has once again emerged as the Overall Champion at the 69th All India Police Duty Meet held in Nagpur in 2026.
The Telangana team delivered a stellar performance in the competitions held in Nagpur this time around. In addition to winning the Overall Champion Trophy, the team secured first place in the Anti-Sabotage Check, Videography, and Computer Awareness categories. Furthermore, they brought additional honor to the state by finishing as runners-up in the Scientific Aids to Investigation and Police Photography categories.
