Census 2027 Goes Digital ... Self-Enumeration Begins with President Murmu

As part of the first phase of Census 2027, a digital self-enumeration process has been launched across Delhi and 8 states and Union Territories. At an event held in Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Droupadi Murmu personally registered her household details on the census portal. The portal and app will be available to the public for 15 days. Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have also completed their digital registrations.

I have completed my registration. I urge all citizens to participate and submit their household details, the Prime Minister posted on X. For the first time, the census process includes a self-enumeration feature, allowing citizens to independently register their details online.
