

Several prominent Bollywood personalities attended the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) held at the Nehru Centre Auditorium in Mumbai. Following the address by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, the celebrities lauded the organization's century-long journey and described his vision as deeply inspiring. The two-day lecture series, titled "100 Years of Sangh Journey: New Horizons," concluded on February 8, 2026, and saw participation from top film stars and filmmakers who expressed that the event provided them with a new perspective on various national issues. Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar shared his experience, stating that listening to Mohan Bhagwat’s thoughts was enlightening and praised his sense of humor, noting that the interaction was both enjoyable and insightful. Actress Shilpa Shetty identified herself as a significant admirer of Bhagwat, commending his unwavering commitment to the nation and stating that his words had further strengthened her own resolve. Actor Vicky Kaushal, who attended the event for the first time, mentioned being deeply impressed by the practical and sensible nature of the speech, highlighting the significance of the RSS completing its 100-year milestone. Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar observed that the address helped clarify the role of the RSS and dispelled many long-standing misconceptions, particularly regarding its views on patriotism, culture, and national heritage. Music composer Pritam and actor Ravi Dubey also echoed similar sentiments, congratulating the organization for its contributions toward nation-building and its role in positioning India as a global power. The event featured other notable attendees including Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar, as the RSS continues its nationwide centenary outreach to highlight its social initiatives and core ideology.
