Amid the ongoing tensions in Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that the residence of Supreme Leader Khamenei was leveled in an airstrike. The Israeli military said that about 30 bombs were dropped on Khamenei's compound on Saturday morning. "Based on the information received so far, the dictator may not be alive," Netanyahu commented.
However, Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps has clarified that Khamenei is safe and continues to guide the country. On the other hand, US President Trump posted on the social media 'Truth' and stated that Khamenei has died. He said that heavy bombing attacks on Iran will continue and that these may last more than a week. International sources are expressing concern that these developments are likely to further escalate tensions in the Middle East.
