

Indian President Draupadi Murmu made key changes in the governors of 9 states and union territories overnight. This decision has become a topic of discussion across the country. The central government has made new appointments by transferring governors in various states. As part of these changes, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena has been appointed as the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, while Taranjit Singh Sandhu has been appointed as the LG of Delhi. Similarly, Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla has been appointed as the Governor of Telangana, and Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Verma has been appointed as the Governor of Maharashtra.
Nanda Kishore Yadav has been appointed as the Governor of Nagaland, and Lieutenant General (retd) Syed Ata Hasnain has been appointed as the Governor of Bihar. Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi has been transferred as the Governor of West Bengal, and Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has been given the charge of the Governor of Tamil Nadu. Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta has also been appointed as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. The fact that these changes are taking place ahead of the West Bengal and Tamil Nadu assembly elections is generating interest in political circles.
