Heavy rains in Tirumala have led to a slight dip in the usual pilgrim rush. Even so, devotees from various states and nearby regions continued to arrive in moderate numbers on Monday. At present, devotees without tokens are taking nearly six hours for the general darshan, while those with the Rs.300 Special Darshan ticket are completing darshan in about an hour.
By Tuesday morning, queues extended only up to eight compartments in the Vaikuntam Queue Complex. On Monday, a total of 70,345 devotees had darshan of Lord Venkateswara. Additionally, 24,292 devotees offered their hair as part of their vows. The Srivari Hundi revenue remained healthy, with TTD officials reporting an income of Rs.3.43 crore for the day.
