Haier Focuses on Indian Market.. Announces Major Investment Plans

Haier, a leading consumer durables company, is preparing to make major investments to expand its manufacturing operations in India. The company has planned an investment of over ₹7,400 crore to enhance its production capacity in the country. This is being considered Haier’s largest manufacturing expansion initiative in India so far.

According to Haier Appliances India President NS Satish, the company is targeting revenue of ₹22,000 crore by 2028. To achieve this goal, Haier plans to significantly increase the production of air conditioners, televisions, and washing machines. The company is also moving forward with plans to strengthen its market presence in India while expanding its export operations.
