

The South Indian International Movie Awards 2026 celebrations were held in a grand manner at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru. Several prominent stars and celebrities from the South Indian film industries attended the event, adding glamour to the two-day awards ceremony. The first day recognised outstanding talent from Telugu and Kannada cinema across acting and technical categories.
Teja Sajja received the Best Actor award for his performance in Mirai. Aishwarya Rajesh won the Best Actress (Critics) award for her performance in Sankranthiki Vasthunam, while Bulli Raju, also known as Bheema Revanth, won the Best Comedian award for the same film. Kannada actor Rishab Shetty was honoured with the Best Actor award for his performance in Kantara: Chapter 1. The awards ceremony continues to celebrate the achievements of South Indian cinema and its artists.
