Rahul revealed that he was deeply disturbed after reading messages threatening the lives of his children while casually checking his phone during a football match. He admitted that the messages left him angry and heartbroken but ultimately chose to step away from the platform instead of engaging with the hatred. His wife, singer Chinmayi Sripaada, publicly supported his decision by sharing his earlier views on mutual respect and relationships.
