Veteran actress Radhika Sarathkumar was deeply moved upon hearing about the demise of legendary director Bharathiraja. It was Bharathiraja who introduced her as a heroine, and she has always regarded him as her mentor. Taking to Instagram, Radhika shared an emotional note, expressing her grief and recalling the immense influence he had on her life and career.

In her heartfelt message, she wrote that only two people shaped her life—her mother and her guru Bharathiraja—and losing both within a year has left her shattered. She expressed that words fail to describe her pain and that his memories and life lessons will remain with her forever. She also shared photographs with him and captioned, “Bharathiraja sir, you are everything to me. May your soul rest in peace.” Notably, Bharathiraja also held Radhika in high regard and often credited her as part of his success, even encouraging her recently by predicting a National Award for her performance in “Thaay Kizhavi.”
