After nearly three decades in Bollywood and appearances in more than 50 films, actress Preity Zinta has recently been away from the industry. She is now set to return to theatres with the action-comedy film ‘Vibe’, in which she plays Madam H, a powerful super-spy. The film introduces newcomer Vanshika Dhir and also stars Kunal Kemmu and Sparsh Shrivastav in key roles. The movie has completed shooting and is scheduled to hit theatres on September 18. Ahead of its release, Vanshika Dhir opened up about her experience in an interview.
Vanshika said she was surprised to see herself on the poster and experienced a sense of imposter syndrome when she saw herself on the big screen during the trailer launch, adding that the feeling has not completely gone away. Preity Zinta agreed with her and said that despite working in the industry for many years, she still sometimes wonders whether she can pull off a role. She also revealed that she finds it difficult to watch her own films on screen because she tends to focus on things she could have done better. According to Preity, sitting in a theatre and watching herself act makes her uncomfortable and leaves her thinking about how certain scenes could have been performed differently.
