Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara, directed by Vassishta, has been one of the much-anticipated projects in recent years. The fantasy film generated considerable expectations as Chiranjeevi returned to a straight Telugu film in the genre after a long gap. However, repeated delays have kept its theatrical release date uncertain.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Kaaka is reportedly being prepared for a Sankranti release next year. With reports suggesting that the OTT deal for Vishwambhara has been completed, speculation has emerged that the fantasy film could also be considered for the Sankranti window. However, the Kaaka team is said to be working towards its planned release without indicating any intention to move away from the festive season.
