Nani Makes Interesting Remarks on Vijay’s Political Journey

Tollywood actor Nani has shared his views on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s political journey. Speaking at a press meet in Chennai as part of the promotions for his upcoming film The Paradise, Nani said Vijay’s popularity among the people of Tamil Nadu goes beyond his film stardom and box-office success. He said people have developed trust in Vijay over the years and consider him like a member of their family. Nani also said he had watched videos of Vijay’s Assembly appearances on social media and felt that he was “rocking the Assembly”. He expressed his hope that Vijay’s performance in government would continue in the coming years.

At the same press meet, Nani also spoke about the way South Indian films are labelled as “Pan India” films. He said he does not like his movies being referred to as Pan India films, pointing out that successful Hindi films are generally identified simply as Hindi films, while successful South Indian movies often receive the Pan India tag. The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, is scheduled to release in theatres on September 24, 2026.
