Leh Café Becomes a Tourist Attraction After Featuring in Ranveer Singh’s Spy Thriller

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has not only created a buzz with its spy-thriller storyline but has also brought several Ladakh locations into the spotlight. A small café in Leh Market, where key scenes featuring Ranveer Singh as Hamza and Gaurav Gera as Alam Bhai were filmed, has reportedly become a popular tourist attraction after the film’s success. The café’s name was changed to “Washma Bhat” for the movie, and owner Sohel later made the name permanent after noticing the attention it received.

Tourists now reportedly refer to the place as the “Dhurandhar Café” and take pictures near the film-themed boards while enjoying the popular “Dhurandhar Chai.” Visitors can also take photographs near the posters for a nominal fee without necessarily placing an order. Meanwhile, locations featured in the song Gehra Hua, including the confluence area of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, have also gained popularity, with couples increasingly visiting the spots for photographs and reels.
