L. B. Sriram, a talented writer and actor known for his unique humor on the Telugu screen, continues to impress audiences with his body language and dialogue delivery. In a recent interview, he shared insights about his career journey. He credited E. V. V. Satyanarayana for transforming him from a writer into a recognized actor. Reflecting on his early days, he said his speed as a writer even worried his family about sustaining that momentum. However, he remained passionate and continued his journey with dedication.
He revealed that he has acted in nearly 500 films but is now seen less frequently on screen. Acknowledging that audiences tend to remember actors who are consistently visible, he said he has been focusing on short films. As a director and producer, he is striving to carve his own path. He emphasized that he does not prefer repetitive roles and would not accept work just for money. “Even if offered a huge amount, I won’t do roles I don’t like. I am not someone who acts just for money; I am an artist,” he stated, adding that he aspires to take on diverse roles and follow a path that satisfies his creative instincts.
