Tamil cinema actor Vishal has once again spoken in support of his college classmate Udhayanidhi Stalin amid the controversy surrounding alleged inappropriate remarks about actress Trisha. Speaking at the audio launch of his upcoming film Magudam, Vishal said his affection and friendship with Udhayanidhi and his wife Kiruthiga would remain unchanged. He recalled their college days and said there was never any scope for personal enmity between them.
Vishal added that even if he enters politics in the future and their political paths differ, it would only result in healthy competition and not personal differences. His comments came days after he had described Udhayanidhi’s arrest in connection with the controversy as something that can happen in politics. Meanwhile, Magudam, which marks Vishal’s directorial debut, is scheduled to release in theatres on August 14. The film stars Anjali, Dushara Vijayan and others in key roles.
