‘I Don’t Want to Promote Myself’: Abhijeet Dipke

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has clarified why he has not personally travelled to Jharkhand to join the ongoing protest in Ranchi. When asked by the media why he was not present at the agitation, Dipke said his team was already in Jharkhand. He further explained that he did not want to draw attention to himself and preferred the focus to remain on student leader Devendra Nath Mahto, who is leading the protest. Dipke has also expressed CJP’s support for the Ranchi agitation during a recent video call with Mahto.

The Ranchi protests have been organised by students and job aspirants alleging irregularities in recruitment examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC). During a recent Assembly march, police used lathi charges and water cannons to disperse protesters. Mahto, who had been on a hunger strike, was later taken to Ranchi Sadar Hospital after his health condition deteriorated. The agitation has continued to draw attention over demands for transparency and accountability in recruitment examinations.
