Hrithik’s Remarks Spark Response, ‘Dhurandhar’ Sequel Locked

The recently released action thriller Dhurandhar has been receiving widespread acclaim, but comments made by Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan sparked intense discussions within the film industry. While appreciating the film, Hrithik stated that he did not agree with certain political elements portrayed in it, which led to criticism. Responding to the controversy, director Aditya Dhar thanked Hrithik for appreciating the film.

Hrithik later clarified his stance through another social media post, stating that Dhurandhar deeply moved him and praising Aditya Dhar for his brilliant direction. Reacting to this, the director expressed gratitude for Hrithik’s love and acknowledged the hard work put in by the entire team.

“Everyone involved in this film gave their 100 percent, and they truly deserve this appreciation. Dhurandhar will definitely have a Part 2. While working on the sequel, we will consider all the feedback and try our best to incorporate it,” Aditya Dhar stated.

Starring Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna in key roles, Dhurandhar was released on December 5 and has emerged as a box-office blockbuster. The film has already collected over ₹230 crore, and the confirmation of a sequel has thrilled fans. The makers also recently hosted a grand success meet to celebrate the achievement.
