Rumors surrounding the biopic based on the life of legendary Carnatic singer M. S. Subbulakshmi have been creating a stir in the film industry. Reports suggesting that Sai Pallavi has stepped away from the project and that Rukmini Vasanth has been brought in as her replacement have become a major topic of discussion. However, producer Bunny Vasu has completely dismissed these speculations.
He clarified, “There is no other thought apart from Sai Pallavi. This project is being made only for her.” He firmly stated that the news about Rukmini Vasanth being roped in is completely fake. The team strongly believes that Sai Pallavi will do full justice to this role. The film is currently in the pre-production stage, with shooting expected to begin around October 26. Directed by Gautham Tinnanuri, the film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Sai Pallavi is also reportedly undergoing special training in Carnatic music for the role.
However, due to her busy schedule with multiple projects, the shooting has been slightly delayed. The makers have reiterated that reports about a casting change due to this delay are false. Fans hope this biopic will become a landmark in Indian cinema. The team aims to faithfully portray M. S. Subbulakshmi’s extraordinary musical journey, her social contributions, and the numerous honors she received. Backed by the Allu Aravind camp, the project has generated even more excitement. Film circles believe Sai Pallavi will bring the character to life with her acting talent and musical dedication.
