Actor Brahmanandam expressed that no amount of money can bring fulfillment if one lacks true happiness. He said that the ability to make people smile and spread joy is a divine gift, and he considers it the greatest wealth in his life.
He received the Bollimuntha Sivarama Krishna National Lifetime Achievement Award on Sunday at the Tenali Ramakrishna Kala Kshetram. The event was jointly organized by the Bollimuntha Sivarama Krishna Foundation and the State Creativity and Culture Committee.
Speaking on the occasion, Brahmanandam said he would wish to be born no matter how many times as someone who brings happiness to others. He shared his emotional connection with Tenali, recalling that his sister Anasuyamma worked as a lecturer at JMJ College in the town, during which he frequently visited Tenali to help her with necessary supplies.
He also reminisced that his wedding took place at the Sri Lakshmi Padmavathi Sametha Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Vaikunthapur, Tenali, on December 14.
