Veteran actress Manjula, who once dominated the Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada film industries, earned immense popularity through her performances in numerous super hit films. She shared screen space with legendary actors like N. T. Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Krishna and Sobhan Babu in successful films such as Manushulantha Okkate, Magadu, Neram Naadi Kaadu Aakali Di, Dorababhu, Bangaru Bommalu, Mahakavi Kshetrayya, Mayadari Malligadu, Rakta Sambandhalu, Manchi Manushulu and Picchimaaraju. Continuing this legacy, director M. S. Raju, who introduced Manjula’s daughter Vanitha as an actress with the film Devi, is now introducing her granddaughter Jovika Vijay Kumar through the film Agadha. In the film, Jovika plays a character named Harini. Her recently released character poster, set against a misty, rain-soaked vintage backdrop, showcases her in a striking look that reflects innocence blended with hidden strength.
The promotional material released so far for Agadha highlights the film’s intense and intriguing tone. Written and directed by M. S. Raju, the film is being produced on a grand scale by Kashi Visalakshi Balusu under the banner of Sri Adi Varaha Productions. With around 85 days of shooting, extensive set work and nearly 45 minutes of visual effects, the team is confident that the film will offer a unique cinematic experience. The movie is being simultaneously made in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Currently, Agadha is in its post-production stage.
