Expectations Rise with the ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’ Teaser

Lady Superstar Nayanthara is set to return as a powerful divine figure in the highly anticipated fantasy entertainer ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’, directed by veteran filmmaker Sundar C. Presented as the sequel to ‘Mookuthi Amman’, the film is being produced on a grand scale by Ishari K Ganesh under Avni Cinemas, Vels Film International Limited, IVY Entertainment and Rowdy Pictures. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the makers unveiled the teaser titled ‘The Rise of Mahashakti’ and announced that the film will release as a Diwali special.

The teaser appears to move between an ancient kingdom facing a brutal invasion and the present day, where a major danger threatens people’s lives. As fear and uncertainty spread, the people turn to divine power, leading to Nayanthara’s striking appearance as Mahashakti. The teaser has generated strong buzz on social media. The film also stars Duniya Vijay, Regina Cassandra, Urvashi, Yogi Babu, Maina Nandini, Garuda Ram, Abhinay, Sunil Varma and Nithin Sathya in key roles, with music by Hip Hop Tamizha.
