After the Sankranti rush, Tollywood’s focus shifts to the summer season and this time it’s gearing up for a massive box office battle between Ram Charan and Nani. Charan’s film ‘Peddi’ and Nani’s ‘The Paradise’ are set to hit theaters on March 26 and 27, respectively. Interestingly, both films locked their release dates even before going on floors.
Initially, there were doubts about whether both movies would actually clash at the box office. However, the makers have now given clear updates. ‘Peddi’ producer Satish Kilaru officially confirmed that the film will release on March 27 as planned. Meanwhile, ‘The Paradise’ team released a special video on director Srikanth Odela’s birthday, confirming its March 26 release.
Both films have completed more than half of their shooting schedules and if filming wraps up by the end of January, there shouldn’t be any delay. As both are pan-India projects, large-scale promotions are being planned. Looks like the Charan vs Nani face-off at the box office this summer is officially on.
