Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s period drama Ranabaali, which arrived in theatres on October 16 amid considerable expectations, has reportedly collected ₹26.65 crore in worldwide gross revenue over its first two days. According to trade figures cited in reports, the film earned ₹9.25 crore in India net collections on its opening day. However, its second-day India net collections reportedly declined to ₹7.30 crore, marking a 21.1% drop compared with the first day. The reported two-day India net total stands at ₹16.55 crore.
The film’s performance on Sunday has now become an important factor in determining its box-office momentum. Ranabaali’s opening is also being compared with Vijay Deverakonda’s previous film Kingdom, which reportedly collected around ₹34.12 crore in worldwide gross revenue on its first day, compared with Ranabaali’s reported opening-day gross of approximately ₹16.50 crore. However, opening-day comparisons alone cannot determine a film’s final outcome. Audience feedback, word of mouth and the holiday period could influence its collections in the coming days. Whether Ranabaali manages to recover its momentum over the weekend remains to be seen. The figures cited are trade estimates and may vary across tracking sources.
