

Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has expressed immense confidence in director Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious mythological epic “Ramayana,” stating that the film will impress audiences not only in India but across the globe. Rahman, who is composing the music alongside Hollywood legend Hans Zimmer, described the project as one of the biggest films of his career. He praised the film’s cutting-edge technology, breathtaking 3D visuals and grand cinematic scale, revealing that the trailer itself left him amazed.
Speaking about collaborating with Hans Zimmer, Rahman said it was a proud moment to work together on a story deeply rooted in Indian culture and heritage. He believes Zimmer’s involvement will attract global audiences curious to witness the kind of music the legendary composer creates for an Indian film. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana and Sunny Deol as Hanuman, the two-part magnum opus is being produced by Prime Focus Studios on a massive budget reportedly exceeding ₹4,000 crore. The first installment is scheduled for a grand Diwali release.
