Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Welcome to the Jungle, which is scheduled to hit theatres on June 26. During the film’s promotional activities, Akshay was asked about slowing down his work pace and his retirement plans. Responding candidly, the actor stated that retirement is not part of his mindset. He said a person should retire only a few seconds before death and emphasized that continuous work is the key to living a healthy and meaningful life.
Speaking about his dedication to cinema, Akshay revealed that despite occasionally wishing for a day off, he is always motivated by the hundreds of crew members who depend on a film set. The actor said he has maintained the same disciplined routine for the past 36 years. In a light-hearted remark, he added that if he ever stopped acting, he would end up becoming an electrician, dog walker, gardener, or household helper at home. Therefore, he considers going to film shoots the best option and remains committed to entertaining audiences.
