Prabhas’ films are like hot cakes in the digital market. A recent example is the newly launched Sandeep Vanga – Prabhas film “Spirit”, whose digital rights were sold for ₹160 crore even before release. The rights were secured within just a few days of the film being planned, reflecting the high demand for the Prabhas–Vanga combination.
However, a few other Prabhas films have yet to finalize their digital rights. One of them is the Maruti–Prabhas combination film Raja Saab. In reality, it has already been sold, but the final agreement still needs to be completed, with some minor hurdles remaining. The second film is the Hanu Raghavapudi–Prabhas combo Fauzi, produced under Mythri Movies. Its digital rights were supposed to be finalized quickly, but that has not happened yet.
Prabhas films are already abundant on digital platforms, including titles like Salaar 2 and Kalki 2. As a result, there isn’t much heightened interest in new releases. The Raja Saab agreement is expected to be finalized this month, but Fauzi may take a little more time.
