A major portion of the film’s massive budget has already been allocated to the lead actor, director, and heroine. With the male lead reportedly earning over ₹150 crore, the director about ₹50 crore, and the heroine about ₹20 crore, the project is definitely in the "no-compromise" category. However, in a surprising turn of events, the filmmakers have been hesitant to cast a senior actress in one of the most significant roles.
Ramya Krishna, who is renowned for her powerful performances and meticulous script selection, was first offered the part. However, after hearing her demand for compensation, the production company reportedly took a back seat. This logic seems odd to industry insiders, especially since Ramya Krishna usually charges ₹10–12 lakh per day, which is not much for a movie this size. Her fee is minuscule in comparison to the enormous sums paid to the male lead and director.
According to reports, producers are searching for another actress who would accept a lower salary because they are in "cost-cutting mode." Many in the industry have criticized this, saying it's ironic that a movie that spent hundreds of crores on its top cast is now cutting back on its budget for a key actor. This reasoning, according to many insiders, is unfair and absurd.
