Big-budget films releasing at the same time often create intense competition at the box office, especially during festival seasons. Now, industry talks suggest a possible major clash during Eid 2027. It is rumored that films of Prabhas and Salman Khan might release around the same time, raising excitement among fans about a potential historic face-off.
Salman Khan is known for delivering successful films during Eid and he is reportedly planning another big release for the same season. This film is said to be directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju, with shooting expected to begin in April 2026. The movie is being planned on a large scale with grand sets and high-action sequences, aiming for a pan-India release.
On the other hand, Prabhas’s upcoming film Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is already generating huge expectations. It is currently scheduled for release on March 5, 2027, but there are chances it could be shifted closer to Eid. If both films release together, it could become one of the biggest box office clashes in Indian cinema. However, there is no official confirmation yet and there are chances that one film might be postponed to avoid competition.
