Made on a budget of around Rs 250 crore, the film reportedly collected only about Rs 110 crore worldwide, leading to heavy losses for producers and buyers. Understanding their situation, Pawan Kalyan is said to have reduced his agreed remuneration drastically and later gave it up completely.

He also reportedly stood as a guarantor for financiers and helped buyers who suffered losses.
