Superstar Rajinikanth is set to headline ‘Dharman’, an upcoming mass-action film directed by young filmmaker Ashwath Marimuthu. The film is currently progressing at a brisk pace, with reports suggesting that two schedules have already been completed and the team has recently moved into its third schedule. With the shoot reportedly moving faster than expected, fresh speculation has emerged over the film’s release date.

According to the latest buzz, the makers are said to be considering a Sankranti release for ‘Dharman’. If the plan materialises, Rajinikanth could have back-to-back releases within a short span. However, there is no official confirmation yet regarding the Sankranti release. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, while legendary actor Kamal Haasan is producing the film. More clarity on the release date is expected as the shoot progresses.
