Deepika Padukone Focuses on Films Despite Pregnancy, Multiple Projects in Pipeline

Deepika Padukone is reportedly showing no signs of slowing down professionally despite her pregnancy. After committing to Raka and King, the actress is said to have continued shooting for both projects and completed her portions. Reports suggest that she is now looking ahead to other opportunities rather than taking an extended break from films.

Deepika had earlier been associated with Spirit and Kalki 2, but eventually exited both projects amid reports surrounding differences with the respective teams. She later signed Raka and King, with reports suggesting that she participated in portions of the shoots even after her pregnancy was announced. She is also expected to share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan again in King, although industry reports indicate that her role could be limited. Meanwhile, a long-pending remake of the Hollywood comedy-drama The Intern is reportedly being revived. Deepika had committed to the project several years ago, but it was put on hold due to creative differences. If the remake moves forward, it could reunite her with Amitabh Bachchan after Piku.
