YSRCP Credits Jagan for Bhogapuram Airport

The YSR Congress Party released a statement following the inauguration of Bhogapuram International Airport, asserting that the project was made possible by the efforts of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government. According to the party, nearly ₹1,200 crore was spent on land acquisition, compensation for displaced families, securing statutory approvals and initiating key infrastructure works required for the airport.

The party also alleged that the present government had no significant role in the execution of the project but was attempting to claim full credit after its completion. YSRCP maintained that the people of Andhra Pradesh are aware of who laid the foundation for the airport and stated that many citizens continue to express gratitude to Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for the development.
