We Will Expand Vizag Metro: MLA Ganta

Bhimili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao has urged the expansion of the Visakhapatnam Metro Rail network up to Bhogapuram International Airport as well as the Rushikonda IT Special Economic Zone. He raised this issue during a meeting held yesterday with Metro Managing Director Ramakrishna Reddy.

He stated that extending the metro corridor from Kommadi to Bhogapuram would provide better transport connectivity for air travelers and significantly boost regional development. He also noted that it would be highly beneficial for thousands of employees working in major global companies such as TCS, Accenture and Cognizant located in Rushikonda.
