Vote counting has begun across four states and one Union Territory, including West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam, and Puducherry. Counting is being conducted at multiple centres—77 in West Bengal, 62 in Tamil Nadu, 43 in Kerala, 40 in Assam, and 6 in Puducherry. Postal ballots are being counted first as part of the election process.
