Actor Vishal has said that political leaders should exercise caution while speaking at public gatherings. Reacting to DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin's remarks about actress Trisha and his subsequent arrest, Vishal shared his views during the promotional campaign for his latest film Magudam (released in Telugu as Makutam). He stated that while everyone has the right to freedom of speech, politicians should be careful with their words during public speeches.
Vishal recalled that Udhayanidhi was his college batchmate, while Vijay was his senior, adding that he never imagined Udhayanidhi would one day face arrest. He remarked that such developments are part of political life. Meanwhile, speculation about Vishal's own political entry has intensified after he recently said he would like to use the goodwill he has earned for public service.
