Urgent Alert for Sabarimala Devotees

The Travancore Devaswom Board has issued an urgent advisory for Sabarimala devotees planning to visit the shrine for the Niraputhari festival on August 2 and 3. Due to heavy rainfall, flooding, and the risk of landslides in the Pampa region, devotees have been requested to reconsider their travel plans.

The Board stated that a security alert is currently in effect and urged pilgrims to strictly follow the instructions of authorities. Devotees have also been advised to avoid unnecessary travel until weather conditions improve and the situation returns to normal.
